Rhythm-n-Babes is the exciting music and activity class for children from 0 to pre-school, in Furzedown, South London.
Rhythm 'n Babes is run by Sally Duncan, a mother of two young children. Sally did a degree in music performance on piano and harpsichord at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and she also enjoys playing accordion and some guitar. She was a professional musician for a number of years including playing on theatre tours, doing Scottish Opera for Youth in schools, teaching piano, running pre-school music classes in West London and gigging in jazz.
Sally is enthusiastic about everyone of any age enjoying music. She feels it is great to have a place for little ones to explore music for themselves, and they love to sing and dance along. A group setting increases their enjoyment and involvement in the music, and it is such a great way to learn. Children are encouraged to sing and move about, and even young babes will enjoy the experience.
She currently also is Musical Director of Streatham Voices choir which meets in St James's church centre on Mondays at 7.45pm to 9.30pm. So if you are inspired to want to join in music for yourself, please come along for a warm welcome.
Rhythm-n-Babes meets in a church centre, where there is a warm and comfortable space for children and adults alike.
