Happy New Year!
Rhythm n Babes classes will start back Tuesday 7th January. Yes TUESDAY! New venue for a new year. At the lovely Harry's Chocolate Emporium, 332 Balham High Road, through the car park (next to the bike shop near Halfords). Gorgeous chocolates, hot chocolate and snacks so I'll have to watch my waistline here! 9.30-10.15 Toddlers 10.30-11.15 babies It's a cosy venue so probably 10 kids max each class. I'll see if I need to make it book ahead only, so do let me know if you'd be interested in booking a block or suggestions how to make it work. Still also at Graveney & Meadow on Fridays 9.30am. Looking forward to seeing you all. Finally worked out how to update my website again! Apologies it's been a bit slack of late.
I can't believe where this year's gone and we're now having another general election. Whichever your political persuasion, let's bring some sunshine to Tooting on Friday morning. It'll be a full Christmas session with bells on! Come along in your Christmas jumpers and I'll have some hats to give out too. 9:30 at Graveney and Meadow which is looking really Christmassy too. No class this week Friday 25th October at Graveney & Meadow as it's half term in Wandsworth. I haven't found another venue for Tuesdays or Saturdays at the moment as everything seems pretty full up. Keep sending me recommendations to sally@rhythm-n-babes.co.uk.
I'm busy working for Wandsworth Music Service too and loving doing vocal projects in various primary schools, so I am still around! It was so lovely last week to see many older siblings return. Amazing how time flies. Unfortunately, due to rent hikes under new management, I can no longer afford to do my classes at the Gorringe Park Pub. It's a shame as I've been there for about 4 years. They don't have anyone living on site now so have to open up especially for me, which costs them.
I'm actively trying to find another venue so do keep in touch, follow me on social media etc. and I'll let you know as soon as I find somewhere. So sad not to see my regulars again. It's hot and humid and the summer break is nearly upon us. It's been a lovely term seeing the children (and adults!) develop in confidence to shake and sing along.
The last Saturday Singing class is Saturday 6th July at The Gorringe Park Pub. There'll be a little chocolate treat too so come along! BREAKING NEWS: We will be downstairs now as they've had a bit of a flood upstairs. The final Tuesday classes are on 9th July 10:15 and 11:15am. The final Friday class is 12th July at Graveney and Meadow. Spring has sprung, the blossom is out and Easter is coming. I love this time of year.
My last Saturday Singing class is on this Saturday 30th March. My regular weekday classes are on until Friday 12th April. There may be a little chocolate treat for you - you never know! If you want to bring slightly older siblings during Easter break, please do but do be mindful of the little ones. I will limit class sizes so it isn't too crazy. My Tuesday babies class has suddenly gone very quiet so if you know of any new mums and dads, please do let them know. I've been wondering what's been going on? Do email me if you have any feedback you'd like to share to sally@rhythm-n-babes.co.uk Regular classes will start back on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th April. Sorry, there are no classes on this half term. Have a good week and I hope the sun keeps shining. We'll be back on Tuesday 26th February at the Gorringe.
Hi all
I wish you a very happy new year and hope that 2019 brings you health and happiness. Classes start back Friday 11th January 2019 and I look forward to seeing you all this year for more singing and fun together. Sadly, my father-in-law passed away on Boxing Day so I will have to cancel some classes to attend his funeral in Glasgow. Please note, there will be no classes on Saturday 12th or Tuesday 15th January. Hi all, We are closed now until 8th January 2019. I hope you have a peaceful Christmas and the only present a parent really needs - sleep.
