Hi, sadly I've decided to cancel my class tomorrow as the take up is not enough. I'm sorry that people are finding it so challenging this winter with the worry of looming bills and cost of living crisis.
RnBs is still the best value class around at only £8 for 45 mins. So I look forward to seeing people at the next class. Warmest, Sally

I've changed the time for Tuesday classes to just one at 10.30am. I hope this makes it easier for everyone to come along.
Please do stay and have a coffee in the pub afterwards as socialising is a great way of supporting each other. Parenting can be very challenging and isolating so we all need a little connection. Hope to see you soon! Sally I think some people are finding it hard to book a class so I've had a look at the booking page. The page is set up by BookWhen but I've noticed how it could be unclear. Here's a check list to help:
1. Click on the event you'd like to book. 2. Go to the right hand side of the screen and you'll see the event is shown - with the date and time under the RnBs banner. 3. Click on View Details. 4. Scroll down to choose what type of ticket you'd like - one child etc. 5. Confirm and pay for your booking. 6. You'll get a confirmation email. Hope to see you Tuesday! Sally It's so great to be back making music with the children. I love it and after recent sad events, it's even more uplifting. I totally believe in the power of music to uplift your spirits, connect you with the people around you, improve bonding with your child, and generally just make you feel great!
So come along. Classes are on this Tuesday 31 May half term so if you need to entertain the little ones, come along. Older siblings are welcome during half term at the sibling rate and you'll be surprised how much they join in to "help out" the little ones - and have a good time too. Don't forget to book via the Book Here page. Have a lovely Jubilee week too! Hi all,
Apologies for the radio silence but sadly I have to say my sister Jane died on 29th March. Some of you knew she had been diagnosed with Stage 4 gallbladder cancer in January 2021 but it suddenly developed into a brain tumour in the last few weeks. Obviously as the eldest of five, she was like another mother to us, since our Mum died in 2008 from a similar cancer. Jane is very much missed by all her family and leaves two wonderful adult daughters. She loved to sing in choirs and we sang together a lot, even towards the end. I'm preoccupied with organising the funeral and supporting my nieces so please bear with me. I do intend to start classes again but I'm uncertain of the date at the moment. I know many of you will have experienced a deep loss, so will understand. Hold your loved ones tight and don't waste a moment on trivialities. Let's make music again together soon. All the best, Sally Booking for the new term is finally open for classes starting Tuesday 18th January. Please book via the Book Here page.
Sorry about the delay but sickness and other work rather overtook me. I'm sure I'm not the only one to find life a bit challenging through Covid. I do hope you're hanging in there. Come along for some singing therapy and you'll feel a lot better - I guarantee. See you soon, Sally Hi all,
I hope you've managed to have a lovely Christmas and New Year despite all the disruptions. It's been a hard second Christmas hasn't it with the uncertainty and cancelling plans? Remember to breathe and look after yourselves as trying to do everything probably without the usual support network is challenging. You're doing your best, remember that. As you can see, I haven't released any class dates yet as I've been waiting to see if the Government will bring in any new restrictions. Also, as we've been in Scotland, I was waiting to see if we got locked down up there or have to isolate after returning. So far so good. I will update you all very shortly as I still feel there may be an announcement once the data comes in after the holiday season. Take care of yourselves, keep singing and I hope to see you soon. Sallyx Just a wee reminder that there are no classes on this half term.
It's been lovely seeing everybody and so proud of how the children are developing in musicality and confidence (among other things). Please let me know of any songs you'd like me to bring back next half term as I switch out some. Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday 2nd November. I hope you've all had a good summer even if you had a staycation at home or had to work through, juggling kids etc. I'm pleased to say music classes are starting back on Tuesday 14th September 20201 at the fab Charles Holden pub garden gazebo. NEW TIMES To help out with nap times and school pickups, I'm trying out new timings of 9.40am for mixed age class and 10.35am for babies to walking. Apologies to all those who were wondering when I was going to start back - life has got in the way. As many of you know, my teenage daughter has been late diagnosed with ADHD and Autism and is my first priority. SEN support is in crisis in this country as anyone with SEN kids will tell you. Happily we're moving forward . That juggling act as a parent and trying to work is something most of you will relate to. However, I'm really happy to be starting back and looking forward to having fun with you all. We'll still be mindful of Covid despite the lifting of restrictions. So please be considerate as some people may feel differently than you about being in a class again. Please wear a mask unless you are sitting down, and bring your mat/blanket, instruments and material. Or you can still hire a props bag for £1.50 from me either ahead of time or on the day with card payment. Let's make some music together. We had such a great time seeing everyone in real life after having to stop last December. It was amazing watching the children develop and grow in confidence, musical ability and socialising. It was lovely for the grown-ups too! Our last class was Tuesday 20th July which was just in time as the heat was getting a bit much. We are aiming to be back in September, all things going well. If we do any more ad hoc classes, I will email you and put it up on social media/blog but nothing is planned at the moment. When you return in September, you may find a rejuvenated Chirpy thanks to Jade's great find on Ebay - thank you so much Jade! He's going to a posh spa to get a bit of rest and recuperation - a fluff up and lots of vitamins. I hope you have a great summer, despite the situation. |
AuthorHi, I'm Sally and I've been running RnBs for over 13 years. I absolutely love seeing the little ones enjoy music and develop over time. |
